Personal SWOT

Every individual is in the constant search for ways to strengthen their personal and professional life with the least possible effort. However, to be successful in this aspects of life one needs to start from setting steps that will build the ladder to one's ultimate and most desired dreams. Coming from a country known as the melting pot of races because of the diversity of cultures it is easier for me to adapt to the attitude and behavior of people surrounding my environment. Even though, I am not certain what my objectives in this life are. I have set my own which are obtaining the highest degree of education and having an exceptional personal life. Since every action has a reaction then I do my best to keep focus on any set of actions I performed since this will drive me to my short or long term goals. So far I can say that every phase of my life has been successfully completed. Hence, with determination and persistence I keep building the ladder towards self-attainment.

Strengths:
The uniqueness of my personality is what I admire the most i.e. sociable, outgoing, passionate and assertive plus being bilingual and having a little knowledge of other languages has made me more confident and more assertive. In fact, I have been involved in school projects, presentations, workshops and I have been taking peer-counseling training too as such my communication skills has helped me to put forward my views in front of a group of people. Having worked part time with a tour company has helped me to develop good customer service skills and good customer relations.

Weaknesses:
As in everything there are exceptions. Hence, one of my weaknesses is that several times I can't say "No" if someone asks me for help. I remember several times working overload because of extra helping my classmates. Sometimes I also tend to worry and try pushing too much even though there is enough time to finish a project.

Opportunities:
The world is a vast array open with opportunities especially while studying and working together with international students. I definitely have the opportunity to learn new cultures’ beliefs and moral values which I can apply in future activities and plans. There is also the opportunity of innovation and implement new ideas either in the job or at school. Not only having theory but practical work also gives me the opportunity to improve my confidence level and presentation skills.


Threats:
There are external conditions that one cannot control but one needs to know how to survive with them. One threat would be the fact that many student graduate under the same career. Being stagnant or not keeping abreast of industrial changes to cope with job requirements is a downfall for my career.
There is always space for innovation; I am ready to break the internal and external barriers that could be an obstacle for the attainment of all the knowledge possible in every aspect of my life.
